5) It (2017)

I think watching both 1990 and 2017 adaptations of IT lets me appreciate both iterations. I do really enjoy Bill Skarsgård’s performance as Pennywise, he’s genuinely unnerving for every scene he’s in. I don’t enjoy the Loser’s Club as much but mainly within the first half.
Pretty good

he's actually a warlord

Such a fantastic series and I love Stellan Skarsgard's performance. His voice is incredible.
The depiction of the cherenkov radiation was great.
Also loved the very human horror of having to go and hunt down all the pets to avoid cataclysmic damage to the ecosystem

Wrecked my back so I'm finally getting around to Andor

What am I meant to believe, in fiction I mean, about Stellan Skarsgard's hair? Did we all talk about this when I had it muted or something?

One of my favourite film moments from 2025 is in “Sentimental Value” where Stellan Skarsgård’s character gifts his very young grandson DVDs of “Irreversible” and “The Piano Teacher” for his birthday. I think I laughed for at least a minute straight.

It would have been very easy to make Stellan Skarsgard's character a monster. But it was so easy as a viewer to love him while being furious at him. Like his daughters, I guess!!

Not a native speaker, but as far as I remember and as far as I could discern, Skarsgard's just speaking Swedish. Wasn't there something about his character having grown up in Sweden? Also Jesper Christensen is speaking Danish throughout his bits.

Skarsgård's Pennywise is very unnerving but Curry's is just scarier and he didn't need any cg to do it.

We are really enjoying "Murderbot"; nice work from Alexander Skarsgård, whose recent red carpet choices have been...intriguing. His voiceovers are pretty funny too.

the guy from the craig bond films appears as stellan skarsgard’s agent, or maybe his producer not sure, anyway in quantum of solace he’s tied to a chair, smiles & says “the first thing you should know about us is that we have people everywhere” then an agent turns

-sorry so did you like the film?

Do I like Murderbot because it is good or do I like it because Alexander Skarsgård's flat delivery and slight eyeball asymmetry reminds me of me?

This year’s #esc250 is brought to you by IKEA, Alexander Skarsgard’s Pillion, and the Max Anger series of novels

This tweet is how I realized Maggie Gyllenhaal isn’t married to one of Stellan Skarsgård’s sons
Over the holiday week, my sister and I decided that A24 needs to make Eaters of the Dead. Riz Ahmed as Ibn Fadlan. All the Skarsgards and Sarsgaards as various vikings. More Neanderthal stuff. Make it as weird and unnerving as the book. Redeem the somewhat Disneyfied 1999 Antonio Banderas vehicle.

I understand where some people come from with their criticisms (miracle absentee father's sudden understanding entirely carried by Stellan Skarsgard's charisma), but considering how dark and some of it is, it's still a really pleasant film to watch.

*Technically,* I suppose, but I dunno. To me, Tim Curry's Pennywise and Bill Skarsgard's Pennywise are so different they might as well be separate beings.

I always find it funny that 3 80s ITV daytime-ish soap cads were in gialli.

Young Baron/Young Leto. The request is to let baron have Bill Skarsgard's beautiful face and I also made him wear the costume of Piter de Vries.

IT: Welcome to Derry - was floored by Bill Skarsgård's bald FX makeup

Simply never bears repeating how monumental Skårsgard‘s Orlok performance is, easily the most potent and believable on-screen vampire.
1 year ago today, Robert Eggers’ ‘NOSFERATU’ released in theaters.

Yeah. I love the original Monster High dolls and Bill Skarsgard's Pennywise, too. "Creepy" cute is my happy place.

SSD also stands for Stella Skarsgård's Daddy 😹
