A fucking whole ass film about Roy keane being sent home?!

Do the studios just want true stories?!

Time is ripe for "Tit Wars"- my idea dramatizing the battle for lads mag supremacy between Zoo and Nuts.

The soundtrack is all 00s "lad indie".

Also saw a lib in the wild earnestly suggest we start a petition to get Gary Lineker as BBC's new Director General and it's so cute that they think the world works this way. I feel like there's a well-meaning section of the online electorate who are still in William Blake's Songs of Innocence mode.

I secretly think that about ALL the “classic” franchises clogging up the cultural broadband these days.
Have they thought of not making any more Bond films

Once again, “protect the children” drives people quite insane, and rarely actually protects any children.

One of the great missed opportunities: Walt Disney was planning a Museum of the Weird for Disneyland that was scrapped when Walt died. Here are some of the designs by animator Rolly Crump.

We all know the most likely candidate as Egg Bond.

This is why the 1971-74 Hamilton/Mankiewicz Bonds were my faves as a kid.
Cos they get this.
"Kung fu! Christopher Lee! A funhouse! A little guy! A laser gun! A Chinese junk! Comedy sheriff! Robot gangsters and cowboys! A flying car! Britt Ekland in a bikini! A kid falling in a river! Belly dancer!"
Obligatory millenial *phwoar* moment for silver-fox Brosnan.

Okay, right: here’s how you make a a Bond movie.

Step one: You go to your average school playground and round up some daft wee boys (age 7-9). Ask them what would be cool.

Omit anything with dinosaurs or superpowers.
Maiden, Mother(fucker), and Crone, if you will

Ah yes, the intractable continuity of the James Bond franchise. Sometimes he has a dead wife and sometimes he doesn't. One minute he's at the start of his career and then almost immediately near the end of it. His 'death' feels like a minor inconvenience at best.

Step two: Find the most autistic of said daft wee boys. Ask him for his ten coolest facts. Omit anything with dinosaurs or comic books.

That’s your plot. Pin it on something inoffensive but vaguely topical.

The more I think about the new V for Vendetta HBO series, the more I can only conclude that HBO have not thought about it.

It's a story about a (trans) terrorist Dr Phibes-ing their way through mainstream right wing types who enabled mediocre fascists to take power.

If *i* was interviewing Anthony Horowitz I’d ask why his recent big budget BBC drama got buried and the publicity seemed to go out of his way to mention him as little as possible

Well, that and Crime Traveller

Yes, "pregnant people" is inclusive language that describes pregnant cis women AS WELL AS trans men and nonbinary people, a lot of whom can get pregnant. But it also describes, like, 12-year-old girls who get pregnant. Do centrist pig-dogs think THEY are "women" too? Coz...bit of a red flag, that.

As John Rain said, Bond relies on denial. You can get away with so much in Bond and we all accept it.

It's all fine so please proceed with the nonsense.

Ngl, do want to see DiCaprio's slovenly cop who chases a criminal all over Malta.
In 1968, Joe Don Baker played the main villain in the Lancer pilot. In Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood, the role is played by Leonardo DiCaprio's character Rick Dalton

Because of this, I keep wondering 'did Dalton play Jedburg in Edge of Darkness?'

I think the shocking part is I thought it was Dinah Manoff... who played "Marty" in Grease... glitch in the Matrix or Mandala Effect? You decide...

Just seen someone I used to love on twitter (and once quite trans friendly) moaning to Helen Webberley that If all that needs correcting is the birth certificate then trans women won’t need your medical interventions...

It seems a certain type of gay will always develop gender-realist brain rot.

Ah no. One of the most off the wall casting choices in a spaghetti western - in Today we Kill, Tomorrow we Die.
But he's a far more convincing Mexican bandit than say when Sir Richard Starkey of Dingle, Liverpool played a Mexican bandit.
