i wish folks would be more understanding of how difficult policy/science reporting is on deadline. these aren’t studies that get written or scrutinized over a matter of months. they are news reports that are written and edited over a matter of hours, by necessity. can’t always nail the word choice

They already have a process to prevent that- but as long as trading is possible it is impossible. They need to be banned from trading on their own or by anyone in their behalf and family trading needs to be scrutinized severely.

I think the key insight from Gene Kim and Steve Yegge in their Vibe Coding book is that we need to treat Agents like junior engineers. It follows that all of the systems and processes around software development should be scrutinized and applied to a much higher degree.
