I grew up in eastern Nebraska farming country. Pesticides and herbicides were used with reckless abandon during my youth.
By the time I was a teenager, our wells were contaminated, and we were buying bottled water. (these were the days when we thought bottled water was a marketing joke)

This is going to get messy. If Alito & his minions rule that Texas can redraw those maps arbitrarily, I fucking hope that the blue states use it as carte blanche to do whatever the hell they want to their maps. No voter approval needed, right Alito?
