Not only is Trump stupid enough to think 'oil' is an important resource in 2026, he is too dense to lie about the reason he decided, without congressional approval to start a war.
Enjoy your fascist king, USA. Don't pretend this is the behaviour of a Democracy.
There will be no more US elections.

Fucking hell.

Think the referance to US Law Enforcement here is quite telling as well: a huge extension of how far the US feels its laws reach.

Apparently its fine to now attack and kidnap a head of state because of 'US law'. Fucking hell.
Trump says Maduro is in US custody.

Yup. Enjoy your next energy bill, nuclear-fans, because the energy source once touted to us as 'too cheap to meter' gets a special surcharge on all our bills now. And before you ask, No, my solar farm receives absolutely NO SUBSIDY AT ALL, unlike Nuclear power.
"Households will see a slight increase in energy bills from New Year's Day...bring[ing] the average annual bill to £1,758, primarily due to funding for #nuclear project #SizewellC and increased standing charges linked to Warm Home Discount scheme"

Keir Starmer should condemn Trump’s illegal action in Venezuela.

Maduro is a brutal and illegitimate dictator, but unlawful attacks like this make us all less safe.

Trump is giving a green light to the likes of Putin and Xi to attack other countries with impunity.

I wonder if the loud right-wing Americans who keep yelling at me 'China is our enemy' 'China cannot be trusted' and 'China will invade Taiwan because they are aggressive' will shut up now that King Trump unilaterally declared war today on a country that posed ZERO threat to the USA? (but has oil)

Even if I was an actual soldier, in charge of actual weapons, I'd still feel cringe as fuck for saying 'we are locked and loaded'.
But for a draft dodging president who is scared of flights of stairs, its way off the top of the cringe-o-meter.

How awesome is this? Not every country is following the fascist mango down the path of utter insanity. Other countries have leaders with a few functioning brain cells! (and will in time have cheaper energy as a result)

Just because you are too fucking stupid to understand what is happening in AI, does not make you an edgy and witty contrarian.
It just makes you fucking stupid.

People with 'man-in-the-pub' opinions on the future of AI can just go fuck themselves. Enjoy your frothing over a beer telling the entire global tech industry and everyone working in it, that they are all wrong because you watched a youtube video once.
Go short Nvidia and TSMC stock.

Watering down stuff like this would be absolutely stupid, so I expect Kiers aimless, difting wannabe-reform govt to probably do it. www.theguardian.com/environment/...? Spoiler: ZERO racist, ignorant reform-voting muppets will switch to labour for doing this, but some will vote green/libdem instead.

In China, EVs now make up more than half of new car sales, compared with just 1 in 10 in the US.

With models ranging from budget to luxury, top safety ratings and competitive prices, here’s how Chinese automakers are reshaping the global market and leaving US carmakers behind.
China’s electric vehicle influence expands nearly everywhere – except the US and Canada
China is already producing a wide range of EVs, including several options that cost less than $25,000.

"The plan will scrap regulations that prevent people from plugging solar panels into domestic plug sockets, a technology widely used in Germany and other European countries."
This sounds awesome, and will happen in the UK this year apparently. About time. Solar panels are dirt cheap to buy now.

I've heard this song a bazillion times, and I never tend to listen to lyrics, but what the actual fuck is it about? Was rob halford just high as a kite or did they take a scrabble game and use that as the lyrics?

How can Walmart's forward price-to-earnings be much higher than TSMC, the worlds biggest (by far) manufacturer of chips for AI, PCs, robotics and even cars? Walmart is not a whirlwind future growth story. TSMC is undervalued, or Walmart overvalued. There is no common sense here.

Its zero degrees out there this morning. Forget all the in-car video games, karaoke, the fart-noises and the other whizz-bang nonsense in a Tesla. Being able to pre-heat it from your phone is the bestest thing about it.
I bet every Chinese EV does it as well though!

Hilarious. Who would have thought that intimidation, unchecked-kidnapping of visitors by masked border police that resemble the SS, and a demand to hand over 5 years of social media posts... might actually put Europeans off visiting a fascist country to watch football? Amazing. What a surprise.
The England Travelling Supporters Club has just announced that conditional ticket applications for the Round of 32, Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals and Final are UNDERSUBSCRIBED.

Incredible stuff tbh. Is anyone going to be at this World Cup?
