If you think Boston Dynamics or maybe Tesla or even Figure are the world leaders in producing serious numbers of humanoid robots then... this video may be of interest. I thought it must be CGI, but perhaps not? Who can tell these days!

Wow. The pathetic state of UK journalism. This guardian reporter was flown to the COP30 climate conference. But what are they most interested in? Their coffee portion was too small. Really? That is your insightful analysis and takeaway? FFS how do they think this comes across? funny?

Woohoo! My space auto-battler game, currently in development, now has 5,000 wishlists on steam! Awesome. Its a spiritual successor to Gratuitous Space Battles, from 15 years ago, But bigger, better, bolder & more ridiculous :D. Wishlist it! Or Share this post! store.steampowered.com/app/3607230/...

Will AI one day replace teachers? Yes. And that day is probably as fast as the systems can be set up. At least for some topics. The one-on-one, incredibly patient private tutor who is an expert in every field will soon not be a staggeringly pricey rich-parents phenomena, but commonplace.

Indie game dev in 2025? It might not be a viable industry any more.

The director of new netflix political drama 'Death by Lightning', is matt ross. Who many people will know best for his time as CEO of Hooli as Gavin Belson.

You have way too much faith in the US justice system not being completely replaced with an array of extremist judges, and royal decrees from the orange one. Here is what the system will look like by 2028:

Pretty cool progress by the UK here. Looks like we are about to dip below global average, which is good for a modern economy. We need to do way, way better, but its interesting to zoom out now and then. #ClimateChange #ClimateEmergency

So do I have to update Democracy 4 AGAIN, to increase the default number of socialists that you start with when playing the USA?

I just uploaded the October 2025 generation data stats for my Solar Farm here: positechenergy.com/generation.h...
About what was expected. Hoping for a slightly better summer in 2026 though...

This is what a UK energy company wants to charge my solar farm to import electricity over night just to run some CCTV cameras and a wireless transmitter. £11 A DAY for having this connection. A connection I paid over £150,000 to have installed.
The UK energy distribution market is a sick joke.

Messing around with some new potential battle background nebulas :D #RidiculousSpaceBattles

I suddenly discovered my solar farm IMPORT supply gives me half hour data. That means I can calculate if our import capacity might be over-specced. The energy bill each month is £150, but only about £20 is actual power (for night-time CCTV). The rest is capacity charges. If I can reduce that...

Maybe seems a minor change, but a 'blueprint' sprite behind ship designs on this screen feels better. Its now more obvious (I think?) that the bottom ships are 'designs' for reinforcements, and the others are actual surviving ships from the last battle. #ridiculousspacebattles

I just watched the new Spinal Tap movie. I enjoyed it. It had some pretty funny bits. Not as good as the original, but then what is?

Ha, just saw a classic example on youtube. Because yup, we all remember how that 'internet' never amounted to anything...

Considering making a series of videos about the programming behind Ridiculous Space Battles. I code from scratch in C++, no unity, my own engine using directx9. I use Visual Studio and irrklang for sound. Thats about it. I need to remind myself it *does not matter* if not many people are interested!
