I have been lucky to see several total lunar and solar eclipses within my lifetime as well as now seeing the aurora twice! All of these are without even leaving my tristate area.

Sun’s grip tightens as he lifts both you and Eclipse up and sits you both on the table; clearly showing off the stained costume pieces on your and his lower halves. Then the sunny animatronic walks around to stand near Moon, his expression just as starved as his lunar counterpart.

I'm glad it's a remake we in the west are finally going to see (The last remake, Deep Crimson Butterfly on Wii, only released in Japan and Europe). Between this and Mask of the Lunar Eclipse seeing an international release I'm happy this series is getting more love.

An eclipse I tried to shoot this summer. This was my first time using a telephoto for long exposures and it was a STRUGGLE, but looking back I actually like this and some of the other pictures I wrote off as fails.

Saros is cycle is 18 yrs
Nodal cycle is 18.6 yrs

Sun must be <18°-19° of lunar node for an eclipse
Astronomical twilight extends 18° of altitude below horizon
Sun's exaltation degree is at the 19th degree of Aries = 18° Aries

Because I couldn't photograph the rising full moon the other night due to cloud - here is the partial lunar eclipse from March #photography #astrophotography

A time lapse photo of a lunar eclipse (2022). You can make out the outline of Earth in the shadows. It's such a clear sky, he even got stars in the background.

Joyous album release day to all. Like a lunar eclipse arriving on a super moon, The Mountain Goats and Radical Face both have new records out today to the wonder and delight of one such as myself.

107, Fatal Frame Mask of the Lunar Eclipse

Easy to see why this one is a bit of a black sheep. I don't have a positive impression of it. The memory theme was cool, but that was about the only part of the narrative I liked. I feel the flavour of horror used & how it hashes out just lacks something.

I'm mistaken, BTW, tired and distracted, I meant LUNAR Eclipse. LOL I stayed up all night sitting on a milk carton waiting to get the next shot.. I've never bothered trying a solar eclipse

On this day in 1500 Polish astronomer Copernicus observed a lunar eclipse in Rome proving his theory that the Sun was stationary, the earth moved...
Denounced by the papacy & Martin Luther because their "magic book" told them otherwise...
