It's three kingfisher images in different light today. The first was taken on a lovely day in the middle of September. The sun was just slightly to one side of the hide. I actually visited three times in a row when the bird arrived just as I was setting up my gear. Luckily she stuck around for me 😊

Wow! The lengths Trump will go to just to make Americans starve. His administration has ordered states to “immediately undo” any steps taken to provide full food stamp benefits to low-income families.
The zoo is trying to kill me. With a hand covered in cat bites that I can barely use, we had a sick goat this morning. I rang the emergency farm vet who arrived 45 minutes later. I didn't have goat wrangling on my to-do list today, but he's had Buscopan, Metacam and (touch wood) seems a bit brighter
