Just one from me tonight. A marsh harrier photographed the other day. This was the only thing I was able to get close to, apart from a quick glimpse of a stoat. I had that staked out for over an hour, but it never came back #photography #birds

I need a break. Rodney goat looks mostly normal, but although I've seen him grazing and picking at hay/straw, it didn't seem enough. Just had the vet out again and he has acidosis. We helped the vet tube 3 litres of alkaline water down him. To be repeated tomorrow.

I need advice please. Bubu has now been watching YouTube on my PC for over an hour. I feel bad coming in here and I also wanted to cull the marsh harrier images I took this afternoon.
We're thinking of getting him a tablet for Christmas. Would something like the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ be suitable?

Fairly rare white-legged damselfly. The British Dragonfly Society actually had a UK-wide count over a few years, with reports mostly being in single digits. I know where to find them in their hundreds. (We also have a few in our fields) 😊

It's three kingfisher images in different light today. The first was taken on a lovely day in the middle of September. The sun was just slightly to one side of the hide. I actually visited three times in a row when the bird arrived just as I was setting up my gear. Luckily she stuck around for me 😊

The zoo is trying to kill me. With a hand covered in cat bites that I can barely use, we had a sick goat this morning. I rang the emergency farm vet who arrived 45 minutes later. I didn't have goat wrangling on my to-do list today, but he's had Buscopan, Metacam and (touch wood) seems a bit brighter
