#Juvenilia
Which Austen is hard but doable because the Austen most obsessed with books is, alas, Mansfield Park. Although the ones best for a ms studies approach are the juvenilia and I'm about the ride in on my Love and Freindship is great actually train

As you know, some years I exchange Valentines.
As depressing as I am, I very very pro-love.

Chey sent hers early. She included stickers for the kids.

You know I wrote her love poem in high school? I still have it somewhere. It might even be in this document of my juvenilia I have open in Word.

My first animatic! Yay, me! I'm doing animated juvenilia at all of 65 years old. This is my vanity plate for future animatics. I'm amused because I feel that it's so stupid that it's funny. It's also a parody of another studio's vanity plate and mascot. Guess which one? :3

I have been so taken with rivers and the bridges over them for my entire life that when I collected my poetry juvenilia back in 2007, it soon became clear that the book could only have one title. revelatorpress.blogspot.com/2007/08/brid...

You are not obligated to read this, but I'd be ec-static if you did, briefly, before returning to your other social obligations.

I discounted that as juvenilia. I think it was an album of Icelandic nursery rhymes or something similar. Arbitration please @richards7370.bsky.social

#Onthisday in 1773 Jane Austen's older sister Cassandra Austen was born. She was a watercolorist who created two paintings of Jane Austen and produced illustrations for Austen's juvenilia piece The History of England.

ABOUT EMILY
Q: Do you have writing that you think will never see light of day?
A: Hopefully my juvenilia never will! I have a lot of story ideas, and I’m sure I’ll never finish some of them.

The modern day equivalent of this is that for my first course at the Bronte Parsonage, I read every single Bronte novel and available piece of juvenilia; for a single 2 hour class at the Bronte Parsonage, I watched 15 versions of Wuthering Heights; and I have read every poem Byron ever wrote.

Counting juvenilia I've written over 30 plays, I think. Over a dozen screenplays. I've directed many plays, taught acting & directing, etc., etc. I'm proud of a lot of it, regret nothing, but I'm still not quite prepared to be The Guy Who Saw Through Marco Rubio First 🤪

I wonder how much he revised them. They’re so pretty, aren’t they.

Also struck that there is such a rich, fascinating scholarship on juvenilia in literature, teasing out its complexities, but there doesn’t seem to be similar in musicology? (Or maybe this is just my ignorance)

I've only listened to the four french songs of the juvenilia before. Doing a lot of bus journeys today so I'm up to Tit for Tat. I don't think teenage Mozart has anything on Britten!

For Day 8 of #12DaysOfPoetry, juvenilia! This is pastiche from the year I was 14, labeled "Epic Fragment 26A." Meter > metaphor, here.

It begins:

Angry enough to eat rocks, he came riding
Out of the darkness and into his death.
Swinging his sword with the blood drying quickly...

And James Norton making a Gondal juvenilia cameo...

Does it still have a literature festival? I once heard Seamus Heaney read there, then summoned up the courage to ask for his autograph. He took a look at the notebook containing my juvenilia I was holding out to him, then looked at me and said ‘poems’ as he signed his name. Very moving.

Not sure expressing admiration for Reform UK - and asking a radical Left party to embrace social conservative religion of ANY sort - is pointing to any viable future for a new Left party

Your Party IS classic student politics - it takes for form of its leaders, who never escaped political juvenilia

📚 In search of your next read? Consider picking up “Juvenilia: A Winnipeg Boy's Imaginings (Volume 4)” by Ottawa-based architect Barry Padolsky.

This collection contains a “smorgasbord” of poems, essays, ink sketches, graphics, and more from 2024–2025.

Epilogue: The chapter from the start of the book is revealed to take place after this. Zakalwe survived. He went on doing what he does.

And this.

End of novel.
