But then I mark a book as "read" in my GoodReads after finishing it in Kindle, & get this:

Both this and the sequel, Sunbringer, made it to my five star list this year, and the conclusion Faithbreaker is on my ereader already and I'm looking forward to finishing out the trilogy.

3,5/5 this just felt rushed we had so many (small) timeskips and a lot of stuff felt like it did not matter that much. I feared that the Ending would be resolvedlike it was and it just did not feel satisfying to me to just have one char deus ex machina away all problems

My October Slide turned into an October Died. I'm slowly recuperating and trying to get back on track.
I finished Faithbreaker by Hannah Kaner and it was lovely. Definitely teared up. Also, finally read the Warriors: Into the Wild graphic novel and it was fantastic. What are you reading, booksky?

I enjoyed this conclusion of the series & I really appreciate the world Kaner created. It felt unique & the cast of characters was fantastic. The story was ok, some of it fell a bit flat for me in the end, but it was emotional & entertaining.

WHAT IT IS: the fallen gods trilogy by hannah kaner comprises godkiller, sunbringer, and faithbreaker. they are VERY good, and I especially recommend listening to audiobooks read by kit griffiths, who is (afaik) genderqueer and a drag performer, so their vocal range is INCREDIBLE
