His name was Basil and he was ason of a rich merchan family and a rogue. (he just always snuck out of his parents houses to see more of the world)
We played like 3/4 sessions. But he had to have his ringfinger cut of because of a cursed ring he tired on

Does anyone else remember their first Dungeons & Dragons character? How long ago did you play them, for how long, and what was their fate?

Mine was a half-elf rogue named Morestal in D&D 3.5e around 2006 or 2007. Only played for 2 or 3 sessions, but he did live!
