#Epizeuxis
I found his use of recursive epizeuxis incredibly refreshing for the period

Well, I did have to cheat to look it up. I was thinking maybe chiasmus.

And there's some fair question as to whether it is truly anaphora, or better termed "epistrophe."

Or even "conduplicatio" or "epizeuxis" or "palilogia," all rhetorical devices I had never heard of.

What is your favorite word?

Mine is ineffable.

If you find yourself overusing #Epizeuxis you may want to ask if you've been manipulated recently.

A new update was posted in 2017 with updated code and binaries for Windows 10. = Epizeuxis is repetition of the same word without interruption.

Especially in the academia, Latinisms and Hellenisms are dominant. This week in a translation lecture, I learned the following 4 terms: anadiplosis, anaphora, epistrophe and epizeuxis, which are bizarre at first glance.

This is really cool and useful! #makecomics #makemanga

Though I do wish that some of the names were easier to remember (like "repeated panels" instead of "epizeuxis") ...

[Fucking kill him (2x)
Kill him already kill him] (3x)
Just
Fucking kill him (2x)
Fucking kill him already kill him
Fucking kill him (2x)
Kill him already kill him
Kill him already (2x)

"Just" breaks the regular pattern, a disturbance reflected in a later trochee & epizeuxis w/ "fucking kill him".
Two ways to misread satire: 1. Take it literally. 2. Dismiss the earnest within.

The tenderness of "where her garments come together, where I used to lay my face" is still as tender. And that second half - when you listen to it today - you just can't help but feel it deep in your guts.

Dabei findet eine Geminatio beziehungsweise eine Epizeuxis Verwendung.

The ancient Greeks had a word for emphasis through repetition; epizeuxis. Finding/mining/coining an adjective therefrom is difficult as all seem awkward.

Nevertheless, this is heroic stuff.

[Tips hat.]

#Epizeuxis is a tool, a tool, primarily utilized for emotional manipulation — manipulation. That is all.

Love this. You should post your full list here (or over multiple skeets...)

Two of my favorites: epizeuxis and antanaclasis (repetition of the same word, and repetition of the same word but with a different meaning).

In isolation, with no books, am looking for poems or parts of poems where one word is repeated over and over and over more than epizeuxis, more like semantic satiation. I have no idea if there is a "poetry" bluesky feed but we should make one!

I still think that if you aren't occasionally suppressing the end-of-stream token and just letting the model generate thousands of tokens after it thought it was done, you're missing some of the best LLM terrain.

I have to question if the epizeuxis (repetition of words) present in the character's dialogue is intentional? I don't remember that being a common thing in the video game. I am watching the english dub so I don't know if thats a feature of the original version.
