half of it is slavery. the model it all comes from is white men know how to run things, and all mistakes come from the servant class being unable to realize the vision. it's colonialism, it's chattel slavery, it's deskilled labor, it's the auteur. property as exclusion, power as the right to exclude
Once you start thinking of AI as a war on humanity, on human thought, on human inquiry, on human labor, on nuance and critical thinking, it slots in pretty seamlessly with the right wing ideological project, oligarchical political projects, big tech's political projects, etc

Been around the traditionally published block long enough to have an edition of my graphic novel remaindered (aka PULPED) 🧍‍♂️ this “ouija board” edition was originally for libraries and hard for me to even acquire, so I’m glad to be able to rescue a few for my online shop! Ok. For years now, I have thought that the Persian miniatures would make a great influence for a comic. So, colour me excited to read this comi when it's finished.

Now, more than ever, you have to be a weird little pervert who makes art of questionable quality. You need to be driven crazy by the flesh. Because, as we all learned from Cronenberg's The Fly, the computers are not made crazy by the flesh. They can't do it like us.

we have gone from a world in which we were told not to cite wikipedia because it was unreliable to a world where wikipedia might be the only reliable source left on the internet and we all owe a lot to the pedantic nerds who got us there
for all people mock it wikipedia is genuinely one of the wonders of the modern world
