The illo is based on an idea of Alex going round standing in front of portraits in museums/galleries, but the vision of him together with a desecrated Alexander Mosaic (covered in slogans pertinent to my millennial-zillennial troubles) really stood out to me as the webcomic grew clearer over time

For 2 millennia hundreds of storytellers have retold the life and legends of Alexander the Great, preserving the myth that the world is a king's playground. Will that stick today?

I am finally getting to use elements of miniature that I didn't get to use much during TCM, like the architectural model panels and characters moving in this spatially-freeform way on the canvas. >3c
