i think this is ok but it’s asking clients to do more handling than i’d like.
tempting to also do the fully-hydrated response as an easymode client option but i think that will just create problems
wish client sdks weren’t the answer but i think they are (for this and a few other things)

imx it helps to learn just enough of that language to ask a question or two and pretend to listen to the answers. easymode is if they have kids, you can just ask anything about what the kids are up to and they'll go & go and think you're solid for pretending to care

Earlygame grinds are one of my favorite even though I am fully aware there's easier methods. I just like seeing if I can poke long enough to "break" a game. Especially one without much in the way of accessibility options because I will grind and make my own "easymode".

Also fuck the haters, over the shoulder camera was a mistake, overhead camera is the real metal gear experience and using ots cam has been and always will be an easymode cheat. Very few games i'm a staunch originalist for but MGS3 Snake Eater was the true vision.
