What a joke. Time to activate rule of law toolbox & freeze eu fund in respect of 🇸🇰 was months ago but instead @ec.europa.eu and @consilium.europa.eu are happy to look the other way while serving us usual nonsense to hide inaction & bargaining chip approach

In December, EU leaders resorted to enhanced cooperation to issue a €90 billion loan to Ukraine. Now, Ursula von der Leyen says this legal tool should also be used in areas where there is a "lack of progress or ambition".

I agree. I don't think the ECB can easily devalue the euro as it doesn't intervene. What is more, many in the ECB are talking about the benefits of a stronger euro.

Finally, the other expectation also came true - despite flirting with the far-right on the issue, on the EU-US trade deal the 'von der Leyen' Platform found a deal, including new safeguards in case Trump raises tariffs or threatens another EU country.
We welcome the agreement reached today in the EP that fundamentally improves last year’s EU–US Turnberry tariff deal.

Congrats, rapporteur Bernd Lange for delivering on key priorities, providing greater certainty & stability for 🇪🇺workers & businesses.
