One thing to remember for why ORCA is taking longer to implement certain features: ORCA covers 9 agencies, 9 modes. Maintains free transfers. This alone makes it unique in the US. Folks are working hard on these issues but it's not as simple as it is in other regions.

There was no hsr in wicked. I feel lied to about the “bullet train”, but I also think it was very much a vibe and all rail representation in popular media is good rail representation.

The New York Times is giving a murder their “both-sides” treatment. What the hell is the matter with you?!? Someone kills a person with their car, and your reaction is to be like, “Some people think murder is bad, but others don’t like bike lanes, so 🤷♂️.”

There are nearly 100 buses currently deployed on the Line 1 shuttle today to cover the gap between St. Clair West and King stations. This army of buses barely manages to match the capacity of typical Saturday service on Line 1. The power of grade separated rapid transit is unmatched.
