The comparison isn’t perfect but I kind of think Olivia Nuzzi is to journalism what Jake Paul is to boxing. Influencer culture usurping institutions and turning outrage and negative engagement into maximum clicks and therefore value, plus it flatters elite interests

First time I did my Alice Cooper cosplay at Halloween, 2023. Everything was going fine until I made one fatal mistake: I noticed that the stage was too low for most of the karaoke audience to see the baby if I put it down, so I started stabbing it on the first row of tables people were sitting at.
Yall ever been kicked out of a bar or club? Like are you banned from anywhere. 😂

I can confirm that the default Southern Ontario sky always looks like some part of Gerald Scarfe's animation from The Wall is about to start happening in front of it.

The early symbolism of the cockerel, as a heralder of the dawn, still graces the countryside in the familiar form of the weather-vane. With the arrival of Christianity came the story of "The Denial of Peter'. At the Last Supper, Jesus predicted that his disciple Peter would deny all knowledge of him before the cock crowed the following daybreak. As foretold, Peter did disown Jesus but, realising his grave mistake, he went on to reaffirm his love for Christ and become a saint. The cock-erel was adopted as St Peter's emblem and, in the ninth century, Pope Nicholas I decreed that all churches should be topped with a rooster to remind its followers of Peter's spiritual journey. It also symbolised the power of day over night, light over darkness. From town steeples to tiny parishes, many of the countryside's churches still have cockerel weather-vanes to this day.
