Oh I'm a quarterfinalist in a big short story competition so that's exciting! Everyone who sighed, laughed and cried with me about Merci and Whitney helped (re)shape the story and I submitted it. I'll find out if I moved on to the next round in march I think

I have not found my person(s) romantically, but I'm supported, cared for, held accountable, loved, taken care of and doted on in all the ways I would want from a romantic partner. Whoever comes will add a lot to my life, I'm sure, but there's no 'gap' for them to fill.

DC has a lot of great big events for us Queers. But I what has made the diff for me in building community is the smaller events, which start to disappear more and more. B/c they aren't money makers and I GET IT! so if I can fill that gap? I will. Passion project!
