Does Terry Pegula remember that Keon Coleman is still on the Bills?

Gotta feel great when the owner and GM are trying to pass the buck on drafting you.
Bills owner Terry Pegula on Keon Coleman: "The coaching staff pushed to pick Keon." Said Coleman wasn't at the top of Beane's list and that he was being a team player with the pick.

Pegula interrupted a Beane answer to make that known.

this is such a funny thing to say after saying you fired mcdermott for losing to denver, you felt like you hit the ceiling with him, josh was sobbing, other players were crying, but it’s not super bowl or bust

that’s the only thing left! lmao
Terry Pegula: "There is definitely risk. We've got to make the best decision, so that's a fact."

Pegula adds: "I can tell you this, there's desire. I don't know about pressure right now."

Pegula says "no," it is not Super Bowl or bust -- "we can't say that to someone coming in"

This is my favorite site to use for mock drafts because the trading algorithms are completely broken. There's no value placed on next year's picks, and you can do some absurd things.

Again, my stance is this: if you fire McDermott you fire Beane too, because he’s done a pretty awful job of building this roster

I’m not saying McDermott was blameless. But saying the roster with *checks notes* Brandin Cooks as WR1 is the perfect roster is nasty work. McDermott got the most out of a weak roster and won 12 games
He gave McDermott the perfect roster to display his coaching abilities. McDermott wasn't good enough to overcome the talent shortcomings so he needed to go. Serious question, in all of the Bills playoff losses, did anyone ever say "boy, the Bills are blowing this game to an inferior team?"

This might be the greatest Cinderella story in sports history when you consider the whole picture. Nearly 140 years of football futility for Indiana. They were literally the all-time leader in losses when they hired Curt Cignetti. And in two years Cignetti turns them into 16-0 national champions.

Well, I guess Robert Saleh did not, in fact, get his fill of impulsive, impatient failchild owners

Dawg Indiana was in dogfights with AKRON 2 years ago. If any team gets to spend money it’s Indiana
No it's not when you realize all it took was Mark Cuban buying the entire roster. College football has gone the way of MLB and the Premier League - you can just buy a championship.

the "Indiana is good because Mark Cuban bought the roster" takes just don't hold up to scrutiny. you can look at the roster breakdown and see how many players were developed by Cignetti over years. Cuban's money allowed them to retain those players who would've gone elsewhere under past systems

I don’t care if you’re Dr. Faustus, winning a national title at Indiana is just unbelievable. Obviously the world has changed, but Cignetti had a top-to-bottom plan (mostly laid out in his opening press conference) and executed it. Just wild.

The umpire got in Fisher's way big time on that Toney catch-and-run. Second huge play against Indiana this year where the umpire was a 12th man. Also happened at Penn State. The universe is going to make this hard

Where did Indiana's defense go this half? They're just getting roasted in every way.
