Let’s all photocopy the statement of the premium increase and mail to our Congresspeople. Show them the real impact. Include a list of the things you won’t or can’t buy to pay for the increase. Flood their mailboxes with the impact on real human voters

KEEP SHARING YOUR STORIES about increased ACA premiums due to the disappearance of subsidies. The stories clearly are having an impact, they help people feel less helpless, and they create solidarity that leads to action.

My regular grocery bills are about 150% of what they were before... meanwhile, I am not making any more per hour. My costs for the same gas, groceries, bills... are obscene. My very small budget cannot meet the new prices of everything. I know many are in the same (sinking) boat. Not sustainable.

I bet somebody could make a killing by making a new version of Geocities right now. Like something pretending to be a Social Media site, but where you customize a homepage and put whatever you want up on it. Just, like, reinvent the original web within the context of the current web.

at the beginning of long covid i got so frustrated with the lock of a way to describe the severity of brain fog that i tried to invent my own scale, which, due to brain fog, did not go well
TIL there's a brain fog scale but its behind a paywall :(
