The federal Junk Fee rule is now in full effect.

Companies are now prohibited from bait-and-switch pricing and other tactics that hide the full price or mislead you when you're buying tickets or booking a hotel or Airbnb.

Initiated under Lina Khan's FTC, the rule is now law.

Whatever impostor syndrome you may have once had, dispose of it fucking immediately. If these people run the country, you deserve that promotion, you can run for city council, you can start that business. If this is the baseline, shit, you can do surgery drunk in an alley and you will do less harm.

NEW: Minnesota’s graduation rate just reached the highest level on record.

Two years ago, we made the single-largest investment in public schools in state history.

Today, we’re seeing the results.

Adobe is backing the GOP attack on click-to-cancel.

Last year the FTC ruled that any subscription you sign up for with a click must be cancel-able with a click.

Now Republican politicians want to roll back this rule, and Adobe is supporting their push.

Not surprisingly, Trump’s overall tax and tariff proposals would make the very rich much richer and working families poorer.

If you earn less than $360,000 a year, your taxes are going to go way up.

If you’re in the top 1%? Don’t worry. You’ll save big.

Next year, the EU will require cars to have buttons & dials -- not just touchscreens -- to get a top safety rating.

This is a great move. Drivers can fiddle with knobs & buttons without taking their eyes off the road, but they can't do that with touchscreens.

(Even better: Tesla will hate this)
Cars will need fewer screens and more buttons to earn five-star safety rating in Europe
Euro NCAP will release new testing guidelines in 2026.

The US DOT says it's planning to prioritize areas with high marriage & high birth rates for funding.

Our new analysis @urbaninstitute.bsky.social shows this would disproportionately fund:
—Communities with a higher white resident share
—Low-density areas
—High-income areas
—Car-dependent areas
DOT’s Plan to Distribute Funding by Birth and Marriage Rates Would Leave Communities Most In Need Behind
If enacted, the new US Department of Transportation memo would prioritize funding to whiter, higher-income, more car-dependent areas over communities of color and people who walk, bike, or take public...
