The coordinated nature of this—none are facing voters in 2026—means that either Schumer approved it or failed in his job as Senate Majority Leader to stop it.

Dems voting "no" get zero credit until they demand a change in leadership. Schumer out as Leader, Durbin out as Whip.
so currently defectors are:

Kaine (2030)
Shaheen (Retiring)
Hasan (2028)
Fetterman (2028)
Durbin (Retiring)
CCM (2028)
Rosen (2030)
King (2030)

I’m heading to the Senate floor because Donald Trump and Elon Musk have shown a complete disregard for the rule of law, the Constitution, and the needs of the American people. You can tune in on CSPAN, YouTube, X, and Facebook.

wrong. What they ought to say is "We did not care"
There will be many people who say, "we did not know."

That is a lie.

What they really ought to say is, "we did not listen."
“It is often said of journalists that we write the rough draft of history,” our editor-in-chief writes. “But our work differs from historians in a crucial aspect: Scholars typically are chronicling events after the outcome is clear.”

These are the people who would never vote for a democrat and because no republican will go against Trump's agenda, they will vote for her or someone just like her again in 2026
"It's so bizarre to me how obsessed you are with the federal government," sneered the woman to the people who elected her to be their voice in the federal government.
Holy shit. Republican Harriet Hagemen got torn apart at a town hall in Wyoming last night. In a state that voted for Trump by 46 points.

She tried defending DOGE and it went as well as you’d imagine.

“Deport Elon, Deport Elon!”

I understand why the approval rating for democratic party is so low. The terrifying part is that Trump’s approval is so high. 48% of Americans support an authoritarian out of their own pettiness.
The Democratic Party's favorability rating has dropped to just 29%—a record low in CNN's polling history dating back to 1992.

How do you explain this?

a handful of democrats are actually doing what needs to be done.

1. what did you disagree with him about specifically? seems weird not to say

2. it doesn't matter whether you disagreed with him, getting kidnapped out of your home in front of your pregnant wife isn't the penalty for disagreeing with you

Regarding the upcoming State Of The Union, Democrats should not go. Find a public square that you can all go to deliver the response. Don't worry about normalcy or institutions, they already broke that. The only thing you should be worried about is not normalizing what he is doing to America.

I got laid off today, with the rest of 18F.

18F was an elite federal software shop. We made gov't websites work better, more efficiently for the American people. We saved taxpayers from getting screwed over by contractors. And were fired for it.

We made this website to tell our story:
