When you add the inconveniences of owning one, it seriously tempers my enthusiasm for one. I did not have time to really dig into it before, but Now that I am facing a new car purchase in near future, I started looking into an electric. So far i am not convinced that it worth the trouble

The electric cars are more expensive than gasoline. I have not seen some comprehensive analysis if in the long term it will be cheaper than a gasoline car. Plus the not so green production of the battery and not so green way to generate electricity leaves questions about how green they really are.

Ok, i consider myself a curious person, but I also value convince. I hate stopping for 10 min to get gas. I have 0 desire, on 400 miles trip, needing to make several 30 min stops to charge my car. My townhouse has no garage nor does it have an outside outlet. Changing it would require investment.
