Used to pay for the entire Adobe Creative Suite. Down to just the basic photography plan, but I think I might cancel that today.

Could use any words of support, ie: "I use ___ now and I don't miss it at all!" That kind of stuff.

All of the companies that make the software I use are increasing their prices, to account for an "investment" in AI.

I'm sat here imagining how my clients would feel if I added 30% to each invoice, because I "really got into gambling".

Something about Bugonia makes me feel… stupid? Like the movie is making fun of me… for being invested in it.

I found that about Poor Things too.

If other people felt that way I could see them being into it. Or being angry at that dissonance, but it just makes me feel kinda neutral.

Rosencrantz: Do you think Death could possibly be a boat?
Guildenstern: No, no, no... Death is "not." Death isn't. Take my meaning? Death is the ultimate negative. Not-being. You can't not be on a boat.
R: I've frequently not been on boats.
G: No, no... What you've been is not on boats.

It’s a real shame Canada is letting a consortium of rich-ass motherfuckers spend the next EIGHTEEN YEARS building ONE high speed rail between Quebec and Windsor.

We should have reached out to Japan, been like “bros, yr crushing it. Can you come show us what’s up?”

The only meaningful difference between reading a book with your eyes and listening to it with your ears is that an actor’s performance can add nuance that you might not have inferred, or that the author might not have intended.

Saying ‘listening to an audiobook isn’t *really* reading’ is ableist.

I just realized that ten years from now, when the entire globe has adopted renewables except for America, they will finally realize they were left behind, switch over, and then be insufferable for the next fifty years declaring that they single handedly stopped climate change.
