A flock of monk parakeets flew by me in Burbank. Its so crazy to see these guys fly around when there's one INSIDE my house. I can only imagine the terror these guys bring to the neighbors.

Turned 26. Got a new job. Found out job is located in a pre Chicago fire building. All in one week. Good November so far!

People all over the country need to understand that federal agents are not in Chicago to prevent violence – they're in Chicago to cause violence.

A friend recently told me that they didn’t think ICE would deploy tear gas in well to do neighborhoods with a high density of white people. I understood their thinking, but disagreed. Today, they gassed Lakeview. Nothing is off limits to these people.

My tias first home in Chicago is up for sale again. They gutted the house inside and out. Replaced the concrete stairs with bars and replaced that wonderful wooden door 😔 (Photos by Google Maps and Redfin)

The local ICE/ERO agent directing his team to fire at reporters' faces in Chicago this morning has been threatening press since we showed up at immigration court in June. His agents shot us both at close range last week, too. None of this started today!

I got to visit the CHM and had a chance to see the Emmett Till exhibit. It was a beautiful exhibit and taking it all in was emotional. It was hard to hold back tears but also harder to hold back the anger I felt. Seeing how awful this country has always been and still repeating a vicious cycle.

The Northwest Side Rapid Response Team posted this community alert a short while ago. It describes how a resident in Albany Park was lured by a phone call that indicated they had won a prize. Another was lured to an address to pick up scrap metal. Both were detained by ICE upon arrival.
