One really incredible thing to note about Washington's run:

They were ranked 9th by other coaches in the Big Ten preseason poll: bigten.org/wsoc/article...

Defying expectations all season long. Why not continue the trend?
On Sunday, the UW women's soccer team qualified for the Elite Eight for just the third time in program history.

This Friday, they have a chance to make history.

And they'll put everything on the line to honor teammate Mia Hamant.

I don’t think FIFA would move the World Cup from Seattle. Trump is full of bluster. But this isn’t on Katie Wilson to address. It’s on Seattle’s business community, which needs to stop falsely claiming Seattle isn’t safe if they want to protect their potential profits. More here:

A news conference started well for Gianni Infantino. Then Trump reiterated threats to relocate World Cup games from LA and Seattle. And then the likely recipient of FIFA’s peace prize didn’t rule out launching strikes on World Cup co hosts Mexico.

Also as several colleagues have noted, the photo choice here is absolutely intentional and points in a grim direction.

The recommended men's model would override current conferences, include an element of pro/rel, and extend the season fall-spring.
