This never stops being true, but I’m not sure Ds have ever, at least in my lifetime, learned to apply it for good. *Creating* public opinion either never occurs to them, or if it does, offends their sensibilities? It’s exasperating

Contractions function almost identically to the full two-word phrase, but are only appropriate in some places inna sentence. It’s one of the weird quirks of this language we’ve. This post needs some kind of warning sign. That’s the kind of linguist I’m.

A lot of the spoiled ballots I saw while tallying were very explicitly and forcibly racist. When the talking heads from Iona and Aontú say that FF and FG need to court their votes, that is who they are talking about.

The Corlea Trackway • Longford

This 2km ancient routeway was discovered beautifully preserved in the bog.
It was dated to c.148 BC.

A section of the trackway from Cloonbreany Townland was excavated and conserved, and is now on display in the Corlea Trackway Visitor Centre.

One Star Review of Waiting for Godot on Broadway I recently attended Waiting for Godot on Broadway and spent over $1,400 for two Row C seats (103 and 104). I'm a longtime admirer of Broadway productions and even hold a season pass for Shea's Performing Arts Theatre, so I came in with genuine enthusiasm and high expectations. Unfortunately, this show was unlike anything ! have ever experienced —and not in a good way. What I encountered was not the artistry, music, or emotional storytelling I usually associate with Broadway, but instead what felt like an endless cycle of nonsensical conversation between characters who seemed trapped in their own madness. I tried-truly tried-to find meaning, symbolism, or even a thread of emotional resonance. I stayed through the first half hoping the second would offer clarity. But by intermission, it was clear: this was a waste of both time and money. Keanu Reeves is an actor I respect greatly, but I cannot fathom why he would agree to participate in such a disjointed, inaccessible production. His talent was lost in a performance that defied reason rather than provoked insight. To anyone considering attending: unless you are drawn to highly abstract, nearly incomprehensible theater, I strongly caution you against this show. For the average, educated, thoughtful theatergoer, it is far more frustrating than fulfilling. In my opinion, this was the single most disappointing Broadway experience I've ever had - an unfortunate waste of money and, more importantly, of time.

All famines are man-made, all famines are political. Historians of empire and humanitarianism have known this forever. Gaza is not starving, Gaza is being starved, by Israel, and this starvation is enabled by our government and by every other government that does not step in to force food and aid.

Time for another Irish #painting. "Bantry Bay I" came out of a time I was cycling into the west Cork town and in the brilliant sunshine I had to stop, sit down and look, for long enough to grow older and happier. #SpeirGorm #ArtYear
Square format in acrylics on canvas. Sunny. Small boats, mostly white, one with a mast, one flat orange with navy bottom, are moored in a rippling sparkling blue bay. Behind in the distance, where the harbour meets the town, in a band across the middle of the painting is a row of houses of two and three storeys high, including a terrace of 4 tall houses coloured, left to right, blue, green, red, and white, leading into the beginning of a town which is obscured by a tree-covered hill on the right of yellow-green foliage and dark blue shadows. Some isolated houses are higher up visible in gaps between trees, and a small estate of modern suburban houses, cream with lilac-grey roofs, sits in a field above the harbour. Behind the town are low hills of lime green fields with blue-green trees and hedgerows, and behind that a small purple rounded mountain and a large pale blue one with a double rounded peak further back.
