The Washington Post editorial board decided the Epstein files have “no public interest” before even seeing them. That’s a stunning position for any newsroom to take. Praising Clay Higgins as the lone ‘no’ vote, too? No wonder no one trusts legacy media. Absolutely disgusting.

I really hate it when scientists keep saying that “we need to rebuild trust in science,” because it implies that scientists are to blame for the mistrust rather than the millions of dollars of dark money that have funded political attacks on science in order to advance a far right agenda.

I guess maybe the biggest problem is that punditry and editorial opinion is the only thing motivating reporting. Its backwards.

gen x / millennials are obsessed with avoiding any moral standing at all costs. They cannot weigh in on an issue except as an “analytical pundit” who is “gaming out how the data could lead the situation”.

I actually think ppl need to stop being so careful w this shit, thats what has gotten us into the situation where pundits downplay every heinous crime because “we dont have all the facts”, “could be more complex!”
One caution I'd offer as everyone goes through these emails is that *Jeffrey Epstein* (of all people) saying something in an email does not automatically make it true!
