Had always assumed that if Trump left the presidency in death, disability, or disgrace, it would be a net positive since there’s no way Vance could keep it all together.
However, I never thought about him leaving willingly, keeping his platform while supporting a Vance admin. Seems quite dangerous.

The loudest Trump supporter near me in Miami Beach has taken all his Trump stuff down from his multi-million-dollar waterfront home
I am not seeing many Trump flags at all on boats in Dana Point harbor. The only other time in the last decade they’ve been down like this is after January 6th. Huh.

Today’s been like when the powerball jackpot gets really high and you buy a ticket for shits and giggles, knowing you won’t win but having fun imagining what you’d do if you did.
There was so much hope for a moment when we thought he might be dead. It was a lightness inside that I never allow myself to brighten that I turned up, not thinking of the crush of dark disappointment, the inky void that the picture of him in the day, disgustingly alive still, would bring.
