@openvibe.social quite often, in light theme, I don't see my clock and other controls on top as the font is white on white background. But then sometimes I see it as the text becomes gray. Is it a bug from open vibe or android stuff?

How did I not think of this ?

So insightful.
So specific.

Just leverage AI.

(given the information density, multiple readings may help)

Starting today, only certified Evosep engineers will show up in the official orange cape and mask.
Make sure your service hero is properly attired before letting them near your system!

For no particular reason at all, I want to give a shout-out to @signal.org - do yourself and your data privacy a favor and switch over from other messengers (tell your friends too!)

Only way your data could be compromised there is if you accidentally invite a journalist to your group chat 👀

#teammassspec does anyone use 96-well plates from Macherey-Nagel with the HR-X material? Either the 85 or 45μm format?

If not, can one recommend another plate for C18 based desalting? Ideally something suitable for small amounts of peptides.

I'm unfortunately not being paid by them but finally I found a better Bluesky client for Android: https://openvibe.social/ The main missing feature of the official app was the timeline scrolling and no ability to get back to reading where I left it last time.

I am late to the party, but what a f&%$king shit show it was from Trump and Vance during the meeting with Zelensky! It was an ambush, done on purpose in front of cameras! WTF? If I was Zelensky, I would not be able to keep my temper as he did... Jfc!

DIA-NN 2.0 release is almost ready, will come with some big news. One is scanning methods support, at the moment doing some tuning of the algorithm using Synchro-PASEF data :) Turns out, 'Q1 information' is really helpful for gaining peptidoform confidence. Likely also channel-confidence in plexDIA.

From one side, it's a QC/QA issue that I got a broken PepSep column from #Bruker, but kudos to them for sending the replacement very quickly!

What's your experience with other vendors?

Do you pack the columns yourself or use commercial ones?

Another strange thing. If I run the method with the trap column, the spray seems to be fine. Same Hela QC without trap column, has spray issues.

1/2 #teammassspec I need help! My FAS @kronigert.bsky.social is on holidays and I have an issue. On TimsTof Ultra, coupled with nanoElute2 and using PepSep Ultra columns, I am loosing spray. I changed the column, I changed the emitter, today I exchanged the glass capillary, but for some reason...

I have a radical idea. All DIA tool developers meet in Geneva for a convention and agree to apply certain additional conservative quality filters by default (so yeah, not 10k proteins but “just” 8k…). And then provide users an option to relax the filters at their own risk. Not the other way around.

@fcyucn.bsky.social Hi! Before I start a GitHub issue for FragPipe I thought I'd ask you shortly here. Can a non-specific digest search on dia-pasef data with a custom database of sORFs + Human be run?
