I don't think the pizzagaters "won culturally". I think people have always loved to dig into salacious material to glean details about the lives of depraved and disgusting people in power. Shit isn't new and there isn't anywhere near the level of insanity that we saw from pizzagaters.

I remember when my first real enemy died. Guy was publicly telling people that he was going to kill me. When he died it was front page news and it was one of the happiest days of my life. Seeing terrible people die terrible deaths feels really good actually.
