You did it! All of the calls, emails, petitions, and protesting paid off. Thank you to every single one of you who took the time to speak up in word or in person to fight redistricting. The special session has been cancelled, and redistricting mid-cycle will not move forward! #HoosierActivism

Within a day or two, the Republicans were going to have to choose between (a) conceding the ACA subsidies, (b) nuking the filibuster, or (c) allowing air travel to descend into total chaos.

The Dems, fresh off big election victories, let the GOP off the hook.

This is beyond betrayal.

If you measure your success and faithfulness as a Christian by your ability/power to force cultural change ... your faith is based on Caesar, not Christ.

Christ commands us to point to what is better and will be in Christ's kingdom via sacrificial example, not cultural control.

I’ve been called “intense” my whole life, so being labeled this right now is not new.

Something I think about often is that one day, when this nightmare—which will get worse before it gets better—is over, I’ll rest knowing my “intensity” was well spent in the moments that mattered the most.

That’s why authoritarians are so intent on demonizing it.

Democrats should never vote to fund a government that's waging war on its own citizens and firing officials *because* they insist on following court orders instead of breaking the law. Let Senate Republicans nuke the filibuster. None of this is normal and it shouldn't be treated as such.

Dems should spell out consequences for carrying out Trump's corrupt or illegal orders. Threaten to scour every FCC document to scrutinize Brendan Carr's corrupt deliberations over licenses/mergers. Say right on ABC that the network capitulated to autocratic pressure.
