I can't believe I've only met my friends in the last year or two. Whenever I'm feeling my most down just spending an evening with them just makes everything better! Hugs are the best!!

I have no idea how I copped before but wow.

Happy 2026!! 2025 has probably been the strangest of my life. It's been such a roller coaster of emotions but I like to see this as proof that there can always be light after dark. I guess in a way that's part of life :) xx

I cannot see the slightest justification for allowing anti-trans hate group ‘Sex matters’ to comment on this story.

If you agree with me, a complaint to the BBC only takes a few moments.

Some patients will wait up to 15 years for an appointment, unless improvements are made, the report says.

The only person to come out of the SPeggie/NHS tribunal vindicated and with a completely untarnished reputation is Dr Beth Upton.

Not SPeggie,
Not the NHS management,
Not Four Women Scotland,
Not the media,

Just Dr Upton.

1st go at a vegan Sri Lankan curry today! Tasty but so much of the coconut milk evaporated it ended up a little mushy! Next time I'll try a lower heat :)

🚨 UPDATE 🚨

The news is in, and it’s good

🚫 GWD, the anti-trans lobby group led by four disgraced expelled members, has been denied a platform at Autumn Conference

They tried to strong-arm the party with legal threats in order to spread their transphobic agenda

But the party stood firm

1.
🚨 UPDATE 🚨

This week, Green Party Specialist Interest Groups will be told whether Party leadership plans to allow GWD to run a stall at Autumn Conference

To be clear: GWD is a transphobic lobbying outfit, fronted by expelled ex-members with a history of breaching party values and code of conduct
🚨 UPDATE

My understanding is that GPEW now has legal advice and leadership are holding high-level discussions about how to handle the GWD stall at Autumn Conference

As I mentioned before, members should be prepared for the likely presence of an anti-trans lobby group led by expelled former members

#UK #TransRights An FOI has just confirmed what all of us have feared: for the Youth gender services, since July 2024, not a single patient has been referred to commence HRT. And 22 have been moved from youth to adult services , also without treatment. This is scandalous.

Everyone: What's government doing about the cost of living crisis, the climate crisis, and the unfolding genocide in Gaza?

Labour: "We will mandate people carry Brit cards".

This government's priorities are painfully out of touch and increasingly authoritarian.

…could EASILY be disowned and the unnecessarily harmful puberty-blocker ban ended. The EHRC Chair could EASILY have been replaced by someone competent and not transphobic and the government itself could have EASILY undone the Supreme Court misjudgment, as it proposed to do in a different case…

If thousands of businesses across the UK don't comply with EHRC new code of conduct on single-sex spaces it will be deemed unworkable, forcing Parliament to intervene.

Lets make that happen. Do not comply. I repeat do not comply. Do nothing and carry on as usual.

The draft is cruel; there is no evidence it will better protect women, cis or trans; it breaches Labour's manifesto commitment to trans people; it is unenforceable; encourages vigilanteism; and it is clearly inconsistent with the UK's obligations under the ECHR. We will challenge it in court. 2/2

Trans people have been around your whole life. You’ve been sharing bathrooms with them your whole life. They’ve been in your communities your whole life. They’ve even been playing sport your whole life.

And you didn’t care *at all* till a few years ago when every right wing org decided you should

Cause as it stands even with this damage control message from sultana the only actual trans rights policy called for in all this is segregation. She is not actually calling for anything at all is she. STILL not daring to rock the boat

Cause she waited so long they left space for one of their mps to call for trans segregation so now these nice sentiments mean very little, you gotta now overtly actually oppose that policy. Really sick of just getting nice sentiments but no addressing of our human rights and healthcare
Slightly undermines your "transphobia not welcome here" messaging if one of the other co-founders was, at the same moment, tweeting transphobic talking points.

Will he be kicked out? Doubt.

Deeply concerned that changes to trans rights could be approved without MPs or the public seeing details. This risks undermining accountability on issues affecting lives and freedoms. Proposals must face scrutiny before approval. Everyone deserves to know what’s being decided in their name.

This immediately came to mind when I read this. GC/anti trans already try to frame trans people just existing as sexual deviants and a safe guarding risk! It's not lost on us how often this government tries to take away our bodily autonomy
What is to stop a government using this precedent to expand the use of corporeal punishment?

There is a strong push on the right to equate being trans with being a sexual criminal. Would you trust Prime Minister Farage not to abuse this precedent set by a Labour government?

There are some genuinely good proposals for reforming our jails here. But there is one massive red flag:

Labour "will press ahead with a voluntary chemical castration system for sex offenders in England and Wales, and is exploring the prospect of making it mandatory".

If they don't commit to supporting trans rights they could change their name to terf party. Can hardly be your party when they're being so quiet on this!
Oi!!! Jeremy Corbyn.

What will your party do to support trans rights!

We're still waiting on an answer!!

I do and will continue to call people gender critical because I think there is immense value in associating that legally defined protected belief with exactly what these people stand for in reality.

I would say after however many years of doing this work I do actually have some insight on this.
