BBC here sounding like they're starting a WhatsApp group, going to get some cans in, maybe hire a minibus if enough interest?

Absolutely loved Clara Mann at the @bristolbeacon.bsky.social tonight. What a voice. Really think she something’s special. Eli loved the fact she went to his school and we worked out we lived in Axbridge at the same time. The brilliant Driving home the long way is about Cheddar Gorge!

Its April, and I am pretty confidenally putting this forward for album of the year. Not sure I’ve been this blown away by a first listen for a decade; perhaps longer. The mood of the world right now open.spotify.com/album/3aRDrf...

Loving my current fitness regime but I remain a forgetful person. Nothing like doing press ups in a hotel room at midnight to make you feel like a genuine psychopath

Tough result again for the Bristol Flyers in London. Lions are a top team, and there’s no shame in it, but felt emblematic of our season: lots of talent & great attitude but not much luck & our opponents made us pay for our mistakes. Always love being back in the Smoke so much love to the hosts too

Atherton compulsory reading as ever. Let’s savour Bethell and his decision to prioritise Test cricket over the IPL jamboree. An act of loyalty we should all reciprocate with passion.

Jacob Bethell’s IPL absence gives England selectors a curious dilemma
21-year-old has not played since February, and is warming the bench for Bangalore, but he could stand best chance of a starting Test spot if rivals continue to falter

Trust me, I’m never crying over what that cheating biter does. Should have been out of football forever after the *second* time he bit someone on purpose during a game.

18-30 holidays but it’s 31-50 and you all have two drinks and a Thai green curry then go back to watch the cricket on your own sofa with a newspaper and also cash prizes

Being a moral person is doing the right thing not because you want or desire praise, or glory. It's doing the right thing because it's the right thing to do. PERIOD.

Gloucestershire win the best of the four quarters. On the basis of this week finals day will be an absolute treat. Decided my lads are too young for three games in one day live but well make a day of it at home. What a brilliant competition so far this year. #cricket #t20 #t20blast

“Respect has to be earned” WRONG

All people, deserve respect. If you start off believing that people have to earn your respect, you are the disrespectful one. That’s you.

All people deserve respect as a baseline for existence but anyone can find their respect diminished due to their own actions

My secret dream is to be traditionally published.

As though being accepted would finally beat my imposter syndrome.

I don’t know that it would, but acceptance, especially as someone who tells stories from the fringe, would be pretty amazing.

We keep doing this do we?
We keep pretending Brexit is a good idea?
We keep kidding ourselves we’re ‘in control’?
We keep denying the costs, the losses, the hassle and the sheer stupidity of the whole sorry debacle?
Honest to god.
Surely we must face up to this idiocy one day.
