Every author, you know what to do.
AI advocates have warned that if every author in the class action filed a claim, it would "financially ruin" the entire industry.
Authors celebrate “historic” settlement coming soon in Anthropic class action
Advocates fear such settlements will “financially ruin” the AI industry.

BBC News - Illegal migration tearing UK apart, Mahmood says - BBC News
www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

It's not though, it's it? Ludicrous scaremongering about 'illegal migration' is what's tearing the UK apart (although, hyperbole much?). Just stop it, Labour. Stop it stop it stop it.
Illegal migration tearing UK apart, Mahmood says
The home secretary is set to announce major policy reforms, including a 20-year wait before people granted asylum can apply to settle permanently.

Please watch & more importantly share this very cheeky, rather urgent request for £15k (ideally in one lump sum!)

I'm only on Bluesky so if anyone can post on any other social platforms that would be hugely appreciated @churchofengland.org @dioceseofyork.bsky.social @churchtimes.bsky.social Thanks🙏

Heartily agree, and 'awesome McBride-ness' is exactly right.
Angus McBride's 1997 pic An Unexpected Party (made for Iron Crown's Middle-earth Puzzles set), has the retro styling of an old Saturday matinee film. I feel like it shouldn't be my cup of tea, but then I get lost in the detail and the awesome McBride-ness and it's just too cool not to love #Tolkien

I ahd no idea this was even a thing one could do. I'm not very good at social media-ing, or internet-ing generally. And I'm okay with that.
My other Bluesky pro tip: I think it’s a REALLY bad idea to pay any attention whatsoever to who has blocked or unfollowed you or put you on a list.

I have never used or looked at any of the tools that track those things and I never intend to do so.

Down that path lies madness

Saw Counting Crows last night for the umpteenth time. My favourite band for more than 30 years now and they just get better and better. The most complete band I've ever seen.

Great news! Now computers won’t just flirt for you, they will also go on holiday for you. Next we’re hoping to get them to take on the arduous task of listening to the sound of a loved one laughing with joy.

People are always rightly pointing out that Warhammer contributes more to the British economy than the fishing industry, but the problem is that there just aren't very many folk songs about Warhammer

I think we really should stop using antifa and just fully say anti-fascist and get them saying they are against anti fascism. Using antifa is giving them some distance and I genuinely think some of their base don’t even know that’s what it stands for.

@nakedpastor.bsky.social loving seeing your work in the @churchtimes.bsky.social - not that I don't love @davewalker.bsky.social too, but if they're going to let him take holidays, I can think of no better substitute.*

I love this so much.
People online are losing their absolute minds at this art installation at Canterbury Cathedral and all the ridiculous reasons they're giving as to why it's bad kind of prove the point of why it's good, actually.
