This is not to minimize the horrible violence that has been done and will likely continue but this post IS right.
The Federal Government is scrambling and flailing and have destroyed any semblance of popular opinion in a relatively remote state in a city that's the 50th largest in the country.

This is perhaps slightly off-color and a little too "big picture" for a day when something so horrifying has happened, but it is startlingly to me just how over their skis and pushed to the limits the feds are by one medium sized urban area.
