The bad news: Over the next couple years, we're really going to feel the delayed impact of all the layoffs, closures, cancellations and money pulling out of the industry. An industry crash happened but we're still airborne.
The good news: It'll take us a decade to dig through the 2020-2025 backlog.

There's always an interesting inflection point in development where you muddle your way through a first implementation of a feature, have it working, and then need to extend it in some way to do something new. And the question that comes up again and again is "Would it be easier to start over?"

NEW: @propublica.org investigated the Chicago apartment raid where kids were zip-tied and citizens detained for hours. They find:
- NONE of the arrested were criminally charged
- NO evidence the building was "filled with TdA terrorists."
