Border Patrol agent Lairmore testifies that he was not injured by the sandwich, but he felt the impact through his ballistic vest.

The sandwich came apart and "kind of exploded" on his chest upon impact, he says.

I saw this without sound on the train.
Now I am back at "home" and wanted to share this minute pressing tears in to my eyes, weakening my heart.

But - sorry Martin - the music didn´t match my feelings.

So I was free to put some other on it.

they will wipe themselves out.

Of course this won't happen but imagine what an absolute blessing it would be for any city if the million biggest assholes in it left.

Yet another pedestrian death on Calgary's streets. This article doesn't include the context that last month, three pedestrians were killed in 24 hours and #yyc surpassed last year’s 10-year high for fatal traffic collisions. We need to talk about this more. #yyccc

This scene captures the quiet magic of Tokyo’s unplanned, human-scaled backstreets—where cars are welcome only as guests, weaving their way gently through pedestrians and cyclists. Minneapolis built more housing than any other major Midwest city & it’s not a mystery why.

They allowed modest density housing types city-wide, cut regressive parking mandates, and made it easier to build apartments near transit.

The results: more homes + slowed rent growth.
