Ran all the streets of SLC in 2020 + some suburbs in 2021 & 2022. I post random photos around Salt Lake and write occasionally for City Weekly.
Made a pilgrimage to Draper just to see the massive inflatable IKEA bag!!

Wow!!!!

Dang — what a sad snow pack this year; never can remember a time living here when it’s been this bad so late in the season…

I’ve been photographing weird and unusual Salt Lake things for 4 years now.

As we close 2025, I thought I’d look back at my twelve-hundred posts (!) I’ve made on Instagram — noticed that over 25% (300+) aren’t there anymore!

Here’s a series of collages of such things in and around SLC! Enjoy!

Closed out 2025 by eating all the dishes mentioned on CityCast Salt Lake’s “Best Things I Ate This Year” list!

You can read about each dish/restaurant below — ton of yummy bites!

Just had the best tamale of my life (as recommended by City Cast Salt Lake’s Ali Vallarta) — Mi Casa Tortilleria out in West Valley City, Utah.

So good!!

LMAO — a reddit user edited one of my other photos to add snow to the scene 😂

He’s baaaaaack…!

FYI: this is the guy that was a late partisan addition to the redistricting commission in order to avoid them unanimously passing their recommended maps to legislature.

He was added to provide cover when the Republicans ultimately decided to use their own gerrymandered maps!

Not liking this recent trend where a developer makes a single building but slices it up with non-congruent façades — just looks… bad.

Was at the Spurs v Thunder game tonight — damn, it was nice being in an atmosphere where the game had meaning!

Miss that sooooo much for the Jazz — hasn’t happened since the Donovan / Rudy-era from about five years back…

The plans for this 3+ acre parcel is — you guessed it — a housing development dubbed “Lincoln Village” which encompasses 95 townhomes and 42 apartments (for rent)
