On Dec. 8, 2015, Jeffrey Epstein offers a NY Times reporter photos of Donald Trump and "girls in bikinis in my kitchen." Epstein tells the reporter that he "gave" Trump his "20 year old girlfriend...after two years."

When people looked into these type of rumors the Times smugly criticized them.

Reform lost by 11% in Caerphilly - because of a surge in turnout, because Reform looked set to win the seat.

This illustrates Reform's vulnerability *because* they are leading the polls (in a 6 party system) while being an *unpopular* party. A much bigger problem under FPTP 2029 than PR 2026

British & American attitudes to abortion are strikingly different. It is a settled issue in Britain across most political groups & age demographics. There is a pro-choice majority in America but it polarised by party

The BSA tracked the issue until 2017. Stopped doing so because social consensus

Seems like quite a moment. This morning, the UK was powered entirely by low-carbon energy, it seems.

Yes it's windy and sunny. But it's still a milestone.
We could have declared "100% zerocarbon" this morning when renewables+nuclear were generating 100% of UK consumption.

As usual this drove our price down, so exports up, and we had to run gas just to power the exports.

NESO set hard target that ZCO has to include exports as well as UK demand.
