The thing that pisses me off the most about all this anti trans stuff the UK is adamant is necessary, is that it's presented as protection from cis men, while doing fuck all to actually address cis men being a problem in society. Literally just an excuse to be bigoted and nothing more.

What does "biological sex" even mean here? How can the GRA remain legally intact if GRCs no longer change sex "for all purposes"? Surely another ECHR case must follow.
The UK Supreme Court has unanimously decided that the definition of sex under the Equality Act 2010 refers solely to biological sex, and does not include people with a Gender Recognition Certificate.

Another thing I have frequently pointed out re the EA2010 is the wording for Gender Reassignment says it applies to someone "proposing to change, changing, or has changed" their sex. That "has changed" so fucking obviously implies that the intent is that trans people do legally change their sex.
The fact that the exceptions to single-sex spaces exist, that you need a legitimate aim and proportional means to exclude a trans woman from a women's only space is completely incongruent with the idea that trans women are men in the law.
