Right when protest action is gaining momentum and focus is on elon and trump intentionally crashing the country, Schumer decides to kick his own party in the teeth. He's either old, an idiot, terrified of trump, or bought and paid for #RemoveSchumer

Just a friendly reminder that while voters won't have another chance to remove Schumer until 2028, the Dem senators can remove him at any time if they just get together. He may be able to stay in the senate, but he doesn't have to remain leader. It's time for something new.

In times of revolution, many things change. If we are able to rebuild our research bodies, one thing we would Iike to see change is for-profit scientific journals.

Scientific publications should be open access if government-funded and journals should at minimum be non-profit.

Politico Playbook spinning a Third Way retreat as a Democratic Party Official Response for rage clicks and getting them in massive quantity speaks to a systemic issue with Bluesky.

It’s just insanely easy for them and Axios et al to do this, and they know it, which means they’ll just keep doing it.

Republicans in that chamber will need to adopt the budget res to unlock the reconciliation process the GOP plans to use to address border security, defense, energy and tax.

Alright, you want your congressmen/women to "DO SOMETHING" - this is doing something.

Petterson gave birth 3 weeks ago. Mullin is hospitalized with complications from knee surgery.
Democrats had four absences earlier. BUT, Frederica Wilson returned for the evening series. Then as Rs prepared to put this bill on the floor, Brittany Pettersen (recently gave birth) unexpectedly arrived to vote. AND Kevin Mullin (hospitalized) just unexpectedly showed up. Rs can only lose 1 now
WELP. They sent everyone home, and now they've just reopened the series and put the bill back on the floor.

Members had left Capitol Hill for the night, now they are turning around and driving back, I've never seen this happen before in 10+ years working here
