You need to know this about the infrastructure of AI.

Me calling this a hardware ponzi scheme feels accurate
NVIDIA's story is insane. Data centers take years to build, cost hundreds of millions of dollars in construction, labor and permitting, and require massive amounts of power, and *to this day* we still lack a complete understanding of what they cost to run.

I promise you, the gaping maw of loneliness & a lack of purpose borne of the mismatch between the self you truly are & the one-size-fits-all mold of patriarchal masculinity will NOT be filled by subjecting a woman to pregnancy, childbirth, and unequal divisions of labor just so you can be a father.

Wow.

Dem group House Majority PAC is dropping *$1M* into flipping #TN07 in the Special Election.

That’s a solid amount for a supposedly-safe red district.

Makes you wonder what their internal polling might show 🤔 🤔

Choosing to integrate with AI is going to cause an absolute exodus of customers.

We all know - it won't work
i’m laughing but honestly it’s sad how much the government is pushing this largely useless and materially harmful technology in the false hope it delivers productivity benefits.

mark carney wants companies to adopt generative AI, but only 2% are seeing a return on investment. this cannot last.
Just 2% of Canadian businesses got return on generative AI investments, survey shows
KPMG poll finds only a handful of businesses seeing benefits from technology despite widespread adoption

The successful PSYOPS of this pushback should not be overlooked
It also helped to see how annoyed the agent was in the video since for a lot of them the draw is harassing vulnerable people and other people yelling at them wasn’t part of the fantasy. obviously other community help is happening too. My city is showing up and it’s great to see.

I can't speak to this more practically, but you should not use TurboTax for a myriad of reasons (including they lobby to make it so you can't do taxes easily without them). Not everyone can afford to use an accountant (or needs one) but TaxSlayer is fine.
TurboTax is about to be integrated into ChatGPT, where customers will be guided through tasks tied to their tax filings or financial profile by the AI chatbot.

TurboTax owner Intuit is also paying OpenAI more than $100 million a year to power AI agents.

Dear Megyn Kelly & fellow travelers:
I went to college for criminology and I remember a professor shutting this shit down so fast when someone tried it by saying "Nope, there are only two types of people who ever need to care about this distinction: the people committing the crimes and the lawyers involved in those cases, THAT'S IT"
I see the “technically it’s ephebophelia” crowd is out today, so just a reminder that A) this is NOT a case where technically correct is the best kind of correct and B) the minute you say this, the gods dump you in the “irredeemable creeper” basket and wash their hands thoroughly after touching you.

Listen Kaine, Hassan, King, Cortez-Masto, Durbin, Shaheen, Rosen, and Fetterman. You're NOT gonna take away my 2025 election joy. We voted in that election for folks to FIGHT for us. That doesn't include YOU.

YOU are what we voted AGAINST last Tuesday. So I'm gonna hang on to that.

We all want- REAL. Real beliefs, real care for *all* other's wellbeing, real people, real art, real music.
Democrats seem to think the pivoting to the center makes them most electable but all it does it piss *everyone* off.

Having beliefs/a backbone and being authentic is the best way to win elections. People are fucking sick of croneyism and corporate suck ups and that is why Zohran cruised to victory

This really hasn’t gotten enough attention this week.
