it drives me actually insane to have people romanticizing subsistence agriculture as if that's not just playing russian roulette with your family's lives year by year, and that every single one of their ancestors would throttle them for suggesting giving up their email jobs

I first started programming Java at IBM back in 1999 as a Pre-University Employee. If I remember correctly, we had Java 1.1.8 installed at that time, but were moving to Java 1.2 (“Java 2”), which w…

There’s literally nobody left working on video at the old site.

Just a dead brand being used for name recognition for gambling shit.

This continues to sound like an absolutely awful time.

The changes give Google unreasonable control over all Android devices and brings everyone closer to the locked down Apple experience.

The current Play verifications and warnings for untrusted sources should be enough.

(Also above there are less cars than in the past.)

I think people need to realize how fucking pervasive payment processors are. In Canada we have an extremely fast and easy bank transfer system called interac. Our financial infrastructure is built on it.
EVEN THEY HAVE TO GO THROUGH VISA TO ENABLE ONLINE PURCHASES and we suspect visa extorted them
