This entire thread. But also, as pointed out on the other site, Riley's family got due process. Her killer was caught, convicted in a Court of Law and sentenced to life in prison without parole. And we did it without violating *his* rights and without grabbing a random immigrant and shooting him.
One of the oldest arguments against giving any rights or process to the people we accuse is — one constantly “rediscovered” by the shallow and the dim — is “well they didn’t give their victims any rights or process.”
