There are two parts to procedural due process: 1) notice, and 2) an OPPORTUNITY TO BE HEARD. Giving the first without the second is *not* due process.

As I envisioned - based on the vague SCOTUS ruling that failed to define what a “reasonable” amount of notice is - it appears Trump is giving 24 or 48 hours notice before deporting people under the AEA before disappearing them. He will argue it’s sufficient notice, & will refuse to return them.
🚨URGENT—Despite the Supreme Court declaring that it would be illegal to deport people under the Alien Enemies Act without giving them a meaningful chance to seek judicial review, the Trump admin is reportedly about to send a group of Venezuelans detained in Texas to El Salvador in a matter of hours!
