"It functions in a crazy middle ground between the current John Wick-style "uh oh, we had no idea this ordinary guy with a dog is a killing machine" actioner and a Friday The 13th slasher (except switching stupid, screaming camp counselors for stupid, screaming Nazis)."

Insomnia prep for Sisu Two: Fury Road. This WWII Nazi slaughter-thon is what I like to call "Red Meat For Daddy," as it's a perfect action flick for older guys who want to see an old bastard kick lots...

"It's not being obviously guilty that I mind. It's that being publicly questioned about it by a woman is something that I can only respond to by being a defensive, whining baby. And that makes me look bad in front of this tyrannical murderer I admire so much. How dare you be so insubordinate?!?"
Q: Why wait for Congress to release the Epstein files? Why not just do it now?

TRUMP: It's not the question that I mind. It's your attitude. I think you're a terrible reporter. It's the way you ask these questions. You start off with a man who's highly respected asking him an insubordinate question

One of my biggest guilty pleasures that's problematic as hell & I should just throw in the trash is You Only Live Twice. It's extremely dated in its racism & it's also clearly showing the Bond people (& Connery) becoming lazy & bored following their formula. But I've loved it since childhood. Shrug.

Might as well relax and enjoy it.

An underrated ghost story classic, a dissapointingly average Edgar Wright work for hire, the longest & most comprehensive history of one film you could ever imagine, and a classic horror comedy spoof that chooses to look up at its target instead of down.
