Lots more info coming but I guess the most important thing to know is that this was entirely self-funded. No-one was ever going to make it so I made it myself. It's been so refreshing to actually MAKE something instead of constantly asking other people for money and permission to make something.
I'm bored today so I decided it's time to announce the secret project.

![Can you put into words what that purpose is? You and the frog have really become icons of this protest.
There’s been a nice overall whimsy that has shown up. The frog is amazing. We had a bunch of other inflatable people here last night, too. I saw people playing Twister the other day.
What they rely on is fear. So by coming out in an absurdist manner, it speaks to them, to some extent, that we’re actually not that afraid.
It also dismantles their narrative a little bit. ICE admits that up to 50% of arrests in its Chicago raids are "collateral.” These aren't statistics. They are parents taken from their children, neighbors taken from our communities. When does a "collateral" U.S. citizen child's trauma matter? This isn't law enforcement; it's a campaign of terror.

I don't think a lot of younger folks realize what a bfd #MeToo was, and the deep resentment and anger felt by a certain segment of powerful men at the very idea that they shouldn't have the privilege of abusing and taking advantage of women that they'd always felt entitled to.
RFK Jr.'s little dig at "Believe All Women" when talking about autism, vaccines and Tylenol (all while blaming moms who take Tylenol for autism) reminded me of @lebassett.bsky.social's piece last year saying Trump's re-election was revenge for #MeToo.
